Scott is the Queensland State General Manager for Westpac SME Banking. He leads a team of over 80 bankers and leaders across the State that support Queensland’s important Micro, Small and Medium Business sector.

Scott has worked in the banking and financial services sector for over 25 years, including 18 years’ service at Westpac. During this time he has also held senior leadership roles in Westpac’s Consumer Bank and within a regional bank based in Queensland. Scott has also worked first hand with SME businesses and various industries across the State.

Prior to commencing a career in banking, Scott completed his education at The Southport School and the University of Queensland.

Now in his fourth year as State General Manager, Scott has seen new and existing businesses supporting the local community and putting regional towns on the map; met many family-run businesses being revitalised by the next generation and collaborated with millennials who are opening businesses and services while still at university.

Scott is passionate about helping Queensland business prosper and grow, particularly those in the tourism industry which Westpac considers to be a key growth area.
